Kentwell’s School of Sorcery – The Quest for The Firestones

Halloween at Kentwell’s School of Sorcery is made even more magical and enchanting for children with activities ranging from art and craft to magic shows. The action-packed fun day includes wand making, potion classes and broomstick challenges amongst other magical challenges, all perfect for excited Halloween guests. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their spookiest fancy dress to take part in all the fun, witches, vampires and zombies are more than welcome. There will also be festive themed food and drinks for visitors to enjoy.

 

Saturday 21st October to Sunday 29th October. 10.30am-1pm and 1.30pm-4pm.

Suitable for children under 14 years old.

Pleasurewood Chills

The Halloween half-term fun at the Pleasurewood Chills is great for all the family and is sure to get you in the season spirit. No Halloween would be complete without a carved pumpkin, so get your spoons at the ready and have a go at making your spooky faces to keep the ghouls away. Visitors are also invited to dress up, but if your fancy dress isn’t quite complete, not to fear, as the mask making activity is sure to complete your Halloween look!

The Castle Theatre at Pleasurewood Hills will also be showing daily performances of Woody’s Spooktacular show; the performance will be Halloween themed but suitable for young children.

Halesworth Half-Term Treasure Trail

A half-term activity with a difference! A treasure trail, based in Halesworth that has several business and shops involved. Children, along with their guardians, are invited to discover the hidden letters around the town and use them to make the titles of famous children’s books. The winners of the competition and treasure trail will be invited back to the town to turn on the Halesworth Christmas lights and will be awarded a cash prize.

Tree Tops to Potion Pots – Halloween Spooktacular at Go Ape

Your child’s Halloween will be full of adventure and magic at Go Ape. With potion boxes, themed riddles, fancy dress and crafty activities, you will be kept busy for most of the day! The adventure doesn’t stop there, as the tree tops, high ropes and zip wires are sure to thrill all little visitors!

Things to Do Before You’re 11 and ¾’s at Ickworth House

Bring along your outdoor clothing and welly boots for an adventure filled day around the estate. The self-led activity day will take you and your children on a self-guided tour. Along the way you will be completing tasks, as and when you find them. Information will be given on arrival, at the Gazebo by the children’s play area, which should be enough to get you started on your journey. The activities will be based on ‘things to do before you’re 11 and ¾’s and is aimed at kids from three upwards.
